Artist Biography
Oriana Gerez is the creator of the unique painting style combining oil painting and 3D flowers, a vibrant and trademarked technique with a unique approach that has made her pieces stand out and become part of hundreds of collectors across the country and worldwide.
Oriana began painting when she was 10 years old, painting murals in her own home, sketching subjects from her daily life such as cartoons, friends, relatives and landscapes from the farm she grew up in. Later as a teenager she won a competition in her native city of Caracas depicting the city. However despite her early passion for art she decided to pursue a scientific degree so she eventually graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Physics and a Minor in Math. She still kept her love for art by visiting most major museums and galleries across the world gaining endless inspiration from all the masters marveling at their impeccable technique. One day over a decade ago she found herself back in an artistic path when by fate she decided to professionally pursue a career in the fine art world. She managed to create a unique art style that is instantly recognizable pioneering a never before seen style of adding 3D flowers to oil paintings. Ever since she has sold hundreds of paintings to enthusiastic collectors, leading to an incredible demand for her work. Oriana now resides in Miami, where she paints and owns an art gallery in Wynwood
